GRAVESIDE GORGE AREA

In less than a kilometre, one creek cascades through a dozen beautiful pools, over several waterfalls and rapids and down one of the best natural water slides in the park. On another creek, sheer cliffs drop down into shady fern-lined pools. Near another, you find a rugged landscape of red rock reminiscent of central Australia.

This area is so important to the traditional owners that it is closed to the general public for one week each month so that they can use the area without interference.

GRAVESIDE - SURPRISE

This combines the magic of Graveside, the magnificent views from the top of Surprise Falls and a walk through a monsoon forest-filled gorge we do not visit on any other trip.
