THE KIMBERLEY COAST

Kimberley Coast food drop

This is our longest and most ambitious expedition, done early in the year when the creeks and waterfalls are all still flowing. Highlights include the 20 km long Berkeley Gorge, a boat trip up a spectacular tidal gorge to King George Falls where the river plunges 90 metres into the sea, and Drysdale River Gorge where flood waters have left debris 20 metres up the cliffs.

Swim stop at a wet season waterfallYou also see small watefalls, gorges and Aboriginal rock paintings. You share beautiful pools and pristing campsites with no one but your travelling companions. If the full trip is too long, you can choose any one of the three sections.
