Only one trip is available.
Kakadu Special: 16-21 November
This is a new charter trip, two possible destinations depending on the weather at the time.
Special offer. Owner Russell Willis wants to do this trip so he guaranteed departure for only two people and dropped the price further when two more booked. Details are in the trip notes, link above.
Photography Special
Although our Kakadu & Nitmiluk Photographers Special: 27 Dec - 9 Jan has been in the program for several years, it hasn't yet run. We think it's potentially one of the best specialist trips we can offer so we've changed the date and organised two guides for the price of one for as few as four people.
If you are interested, get in quick. Making the final arrangements takes time so we'll have to guarantee departure or cancel it by 7 November.
Special offer. Owner Russell Willis wants to do this trip so if a total of four people book by the deadline, he'll give them all a 15% discount. If five or more book, we'll make it 20%.2010
Our wet season light-pack trips are designed for people who would like to experience the wonder of our wet season without having to carry full packs. We've got two trips in the program.
To date, we've had several enquiries for both trips, but no confirmed bookings. If that situation continues to the end of the month, We'll combine parts of them into a new trip, Russell's Light Wet Special and run it for as few as two people at no extra charge. Even without paying a wage, that's a bit less than break even. That says how much owner Russell enjoys the trips. Additional details are in the trip notes.
- Green Kimberley Light: 15-30 January
- Kakadu Light: 4-13 February
If you want a better idea of what it's like, have a look at the photo galleries from our 2002 and 2005 trips2010 bookings are already trickling in. Three of the trips with bookings deserve a special mention.
- Bungle Bungles in the Wet: 14-27 February
The road is closed and the park is closed to the general public, but we have permission to fly in. The difference between the wet and dry seasons is incredible. The things we learned on our first wet season trip should make this one evern better. If you want a better idea what it's like,
have a look at our Bungles in the Wet photo gallery.- Karijini National Park: 11-24 April is outside the peak tourist season so the popular spots are less crowded. Our April trip this year was the first Karijini trip we've done where almost everyone found the water warm enough to enjoy a swim.
This trip now needs only one more booking to become a definite departure.- Gibb River Road Gorges: 20 June - 11 July
This is our easiest Kimberley dry season trip. Forget the tourist crowds in the main camping areas. Relatively short walks will bring you to beautiful camp sites you share with no one but your walking companions.Want More Info
